1) Why Students Are Committing Suicide ?

If Einstein and Winston Churchill could shine despite learning Disabilities, why did Khushbu have to leap to her death because she couldn't deal with maths. Khushbu, 20, jumped from the 9'th floor of the CBSE building in Delhi after failing in her third attempt to clear the class 10'th exam. Our system has failed to deal with understanding children with special needs.

Today i would like to say something about the problem that we are facing ie students committing suicide. How many of us know about physical capacity ? We all have limitation beyond which we cannot go. A person can run at a speed but not beyond that. A person can carry ' X ' amount of weight and not a kilo more, why ? Because we reach a saturation point beyond which we cannot go.

Do we apply the same principle to Mind ?
NO .

Physical endurance can be seen but Mental cannot be seen. We keep taxing the children with over dose of education. Education should be for knowledge seeking and not competitive. We judge a student by the percentage of marks and not by application of same knowledge in practice. In today's era we know that about 7% of children are learning disabled so they may have problem of Dyslexia [ prone to spelling mistakes ], Dyscalcullia [ prone to mathematical mistakes ], Dysgraphia [ prone to mistakes in cursive handwriting ].

These children with learning disability are going to fail in normal studies, so how do we judge them ? does it mean that they are poor in studies?
NO .

Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Alva Edison, Alexander Graham Bell, Winston Churchill, Keanu Reeves, Albert Einstein and Tom Cruise. All these people were Learning Disabled but all of them achieved great success in their field of work, they made history, world would be different without them. Think beyond being Doctors and Engineers. Be what YOU want to be and not what your parents want you to be. Many people from creative industry are learning disabled. The biggest example being that of Sir Walt Dizney.

Life doesn't start with being a Doctor and ends with being a Engineer. You could be a Painter, Animator, Commercial Photographer or in Advertising industry. Sky is the limit for creative people. Leonardo da Vinci the great painter was a great scientist also. He was great because of his imagination and creativity. Many years back he showed the concept of Parachute in his painting by showing that a person would land softly holding an Umbrella in his hand if he jumped from height.

So Parents if you see your child doing poor in studies, please rule out Learning Disability before you scold or punish your child for poor performance or failing in studies. Remember the true Genus come from those 7%. May be your child is one of them. Let us judge the child beyond percentage, I assure you my friends many frustrations leading to suicide can be avoided.

Let us come to gather and make education less stressful and more meaning full.

2)TREATMENT FOR TUBERCULOSIS

How do we treat MULTI- DRUG RESISTANT TUBERCULOSIS and XDR TUBERCULOSIS?


   
As per the article in the newspaper mentioning the complexities of treating MDR - TB and XDR - TB, we know how difficult it is to cure and how fatal it is. So what do we do about it and how do we treat it? To understand this, we will have to know as to how and why MDR - TB and XDR - TB is caused.

TB is the problem of the developing world because developed countries have managed to almost eradicate it by preventing the spread and treating the TB cases with Antibiotics. Since there is high level of literacy and awareness of the disease, the patients take their treatment seriously and finish the course sincerely.

TB requires a long term treatment lasting for few months. This does not happen in developing countries because of lack of awareness and poor literacy. Most of the patients leave the treatment as soon as the symptoms disappear as a result they catch the same disease after some time because of in-complete treatment. Now the second time infection becomes more difficult to treat because the TB bacteria develop resistance to the Antibiotics since they have their own defense mechanism against antibiotics. As a result, the patient suffers from the same disease second time but this time the bacteria are resistant to the antibiotics.

Most of the research and development for the new Antibiotics is being done in developed world and since they have almost eradicated TB, there is not much research being done for new TB antibiotics and as a result very few new antibiotics have come in the market and the one which have come are very expensive because any new antibiotic molecule is always expensive in the beginning because only few pharmaceutical companies having the patent rights will manufacture it.

Most of the TB patients in developing world are poor and can't afford the expensive treatment of MDR and XDR TB. They die because of non affordability or treatment failure because of resistant bacteria or at times due to toxicity / side effect of drugs kill the patient.

So how do we treat such cases? To know this we will have to understand as to why we suffer from TB.
Whenever we consume some contaminated food in a social gathering, we suffer from food poisoning and develop diarrhea, vomiting, fever.  Everybody who has consumed contaminated food does not suffer with same intensity. Some suffer less, some suffer more, and some do not suffer at all. WHY?
People who do not suffer at all have good immunity, people who suffer moderately have moderate immunity and people who suffer most have poor immunity. Depending upon the level of immunity the patients suffer more or less.

     Similarly, all the people who have come in contact with TB germs will not suffer from TB. Only those whose immunity system is weak will suffer from TB.
So, Why Not correct and Boost Up the Faulty Immunity System so that the patient suffering from MDR and XDR TB,  fights with the resistant Bacteria with his own immunity system. This could be done by adopting the ALTERNATE SYSTEM OF HEALING along with the TB Antibiotics and increasing the rate of cure without any side effects what so ever.

I have treated many patients who have suffered two to three times from TB, eventually becoming MDR / XDR TB. Some of them had Pleural Effusion i.e. accumulation of fluid in pleural cavity surrounding the lungs, which results into Dyspnoea i.e. difficulty in breathing. Continuing with the same drug regime, which had failed before or responded poorly, they were administered a dose of Alternate System of Healing once in a week. I was surprised to see full symptomatic recovery and the same was supported with X - Ray taken after three months of continuous treatment with Alternate System of Healing. Also there has been no relapse of infection. Based on my experience, I say we can definitely help patients suffering from MDR and XDR TB without any toxic side effect or Huge cost escalation.

3)Ebola & Homoeopathic Vaccination

Yes, Homoeopathy has cure for Viral infections including Ebola. In the past, Doctors have administered a common Homoeopathic medicine to control epidemics with great success. The Homoeopathic medicine is selected taking into consideration all the common symptoms that you see in an epidemic, based on this a common Dose / Potency is selected & administered to patients.
Dr Eugene Beauharnais Nash (1834-1917), Columbia County, New York, was one of America’s leading 19th century Homoeopaths. He graduated from Cleveland Homoeopathic medical college in 1874. He served as Professor of Materia Medica in the New York Homoeopathic Medical College and also taught at the Homoeopathic Hospital of London. In 1903 he became president of the International Hahnemannian Association. In his book “Leaders In Homoeopathic Therapeutics “he says “Dr Baker, of Moravia, N Y, cured during an epidemic of this terrible disease ( Cerbro Spinal Meningitis ), sixty cases of all degrees without the loss of  a single case”. Also he says “ I have aborted many cases of Typhoid fever with this remedy – Gelsemium Nitidum “.
Did anyone think of Homoeopathic vaccination, well Dr James Tyler Kent did. In his book “ Lectures On Materia Medica “ he says “ If Tuberculinum Bovinum be given in 10m, 50m & CM potencies, two doses of each potencies at long interval, all children & young people who have inherited Tuberculosis may be immuned from their inheritance and there resiliency will be restored. It cures most cases of Adenoids & Tuberculosis gland of neck “. Today we have BCG vaccine for Tuberculosis but we are not sure of its efficacy. BCG came some decades back & has not been successful in Eradicating Tuberculosis so why not try Homoeopathic vaccine Tuberculinum Bovinum .
Allopathy has nothing to offer in Viral infections be it Ebola, Dengue, Hepatitis B/C, HIV, Swine Flu , Chikungunia etc. After discovery of Penicillin other systems like Homoeopathy took back seat. Allopathic drugs gave rise to Pharmaceutical companies & manufacturing Allopathic drugs became a hugely profitable multi Billion Dollar Industry which led to downward trend of Homoeopathy. Actually it was done deliberately to make way for Allopathic & its supporting industries.
Consider a case of chronic Recurrent Tonsillitis treated with Antihistamine, Decongestant, Antibiotic, Antipyretic & Anti-inflammatory drugs by an Allopath for some months or years. Now what if the same case is treated by an Homoeopath with a dose of Hepar Sulph followed by a dose of Silicea which will give the child a long lasting, may be permanent cure saving the child from all the side effects of Allopathic drugs. Now just imagine what will happen to
 1 ) The Pharmaceutical companies manufacturing all the above mentioned drugs.
 2 ) Allopaths , who would have treated the child for some more years.
 3) The Surgeon who would have operated upon the child for Tonsillitis.
 4)  Hospitals which would have done postoperative care?
 All these people linked with Allopathic treatment, be it Doctors or Pharmaceutical Companies will be offended by a single Homoeopath who delivered complete cure at a minimum cost without any side effect. There were excellent Homoeopathic Medical colleges in America which were Temples for learning Homoeopathy; in fact pioneering work was done by followers of Dr Hahnemann like Dr E B Nash, Dr James Tyler Kent, Dr William Boericke etc all these good Doctors had done their medical graduation from America. Why did all the good work done by these good Homoeopaths fade away? Why is Homoeopathy not being practiced in America? Why is it banned?
There are many Autoimmune diseases like Rheumatism, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Sarcodosis Psoriasis etc, even Central Nervous System disorders like Stroke, Cerebral Palsy, Demylenating Polyneuropathy, Multipal Sclerosis etc which has no known cure in Allopathy & these are the cases where Homoeopathy does excellently.
In Allopathy, we give pain killers, Steroids, Methotrexate, Chloroquine etc to control Autoimmune disorders like Rheumatism etc. These drugs suppress immunity & have to be taken for a very long time. These medicine only suppress the pain & when discontinued the disease comes back. Homoeopathy has solution to this & that too without any side effect. Homoeopathy does not kill or postpone pain, but cures it.
Many Cancer patients are dependent on Allopathic drugs which are loaded with side effects that are not acceptable & make the patient suffer more. In my practice, I have seen excellent results in cancer patients being treated with Homoeopathic drugs wherein dependency on Allopathic drugs completely goes or reduces drastically leading to good quality life.
Many a times Allopathic drugs given in chronic disorders for a long time are not acceptable by patients because they suffer more because of side effects then the disease.
Lately we all know about Multiple Drug Resistance Bacterial & Tuberculosis infection where no known Antibiotics work, why not give Homoeopathy in such cases? I have seen excellent results in such cases. I firmly believe that it is only a matter of time before Homoeopathy makes a comeback as a main stream medicine.
Let us not put one stream against the other, if practised judiciously all is well. What Homoeopathy requires is a modern mindset. Homoeopathic drugs were proved when there were no Microscope, Modern Laboratories, Ultrasound, MRI, CT scan. What could be done is we can reaffirm faith in proven Homoeopathic Drugs backed up by Modern Laboratories & show it to the world. Good Homoeopaths can be involved in cases like Paralysis which has already been treated by some Allopath with a video recording of Patient on first day of treatment compared with video recording done after the treatment. This could be done in the presence of renowned Doctors & the data could be shared with all. I say so because I have seen some good results in my clinical practice.
 In fact I would say why not have a single common MBBS degree for all Medical graduates which will give good knowledge of Modern Medicine ( Allopathy ). Subsequently interested candidates can pursue specialised courses (Homoeopathy/Ayurveda etc) ie Doctors who are interested in Homoeopathy can do Masters in the same after finishing MBBS.
